No REAL God requires flattery or is at all mean or exclusive.

Most "religion" is a Business Venture,a way to make a living without the dirty work.

Am I a heretic? an Agnostic? a Hopi? a Zen-Jedi?
I don't care. I know Karma seems to work. I do the right thing...and I get "lucky". If my Karma sucks....even ugly women ain't interested. If it's good...pretty young ladies want to meet me. I had an auto accident where ...mid air...I realized my odds were....VERY bad. I flew a Pinto,off a mountain road,through a redwood forest,over a ravine and landed in a just rototilled garden that was maybe 20 ft square. No harm to me and no major damage to my lucky Pinto.

I could not have put that car there with a helicopter. KARMA. Yard Sales...however...are a less risky gauge of my Karma. If there's somee thing I want or need....it seems instinctive that I just happen to go to the ideal yeard sale...and there it is...and a buck or two.

Anyhow...as our awareness of the way the universe works grows,our concept of a diety will need to be updated. Despite old and a bit illogical traditions, I expect future 'religion" will see "God" more like "the force" in the Star Wars movies.

The spark of LIFE is the precious and scarce thing in this universe. Deep in each of us...our DNA gives us a mandate to do our part to make LIFE evolve and progress. Long ago,the major religions did sense some of that mandate. Most religion is in part based on the words of that prophet...Rodney King...."Can't we all just get along".

Don't hold your breath.

A wise few will GET how REALITY must shape THEOLOGY,how we,as humans...are no longer the primatives we were 1000 yr ago,how our script of how any valid divine forcwe...has to be compatible with reality/science.

Believe it or not...we have a built in mandate to evolve and sustain life. LIFE...is a big deal. Early religions got that the SUN was pretty important. They underestimated HOW important.

Something we...as "life as we know it" will eventually need to face...is how to survive and evolve AFTER this sun fails to operate properly.
Can we get smart enough to migrate out of this solar system to another? Maybe. We are programmed to make PROGRESS...so we can have that chance.

You can decide how to merge all that with religious traditions.
