Between the two of them, they have IMO been the two smartest and most capable people of basically every Presidential administration of the last 32 years, aka most of all of our lifetimes.
Only exception is George W, but even then, Baker was brought in to be a fixer like the Wolf from Pulp Fiction and really did end Iraq.
Remarkable that they pretty much agreed right down the line on what is going on and how to address it.
