First off, I think you mean a "filibuster-proof majority." Being veto proof requires a 2/3 majority in both houses and would only be relevant if THE PRESIDENT IS FROM THE OPPOSITE PARTY.
Secondly, I think you forget that Norm Coleman refused to let the Senate confirm Al Franken for MONTHS. And then Teddy Kennedy got too sick to show up. Then he died. Then Brown won.
The Dems only had 60 votes for a handful of months. And even then the Blue Dogs were not voting with the Dems. They were participating in filibustering their own goddam party.
If you're going to make a point, don't lie and don't make incredibly stupid mistakes.
And the reason why I know you're a Republican drone is because the talking heads continue to make the same stupid stupid mistake/lie.
