Recap: After Bush was passed the tech bubble and 9/11, the economy did rather well for about five years. Unemployment was below 5% in some cases.

I will point out that the GOP had four years that they could have passed a bunch of spending cuts, but they didn't. So...

In 2006, they lost one half of Congress. In 2008, the banking crisis hit and they lost the other half of Congress and the Presidency.

For two years, the Dems had a veto-proof majority. What did they do to correct the economy? They passed a humongous stimulus bill. Then, they focused in on health care and had to bribe their own party to pass the legislation (that the GOP had no part in, and very few had read) by one vote.

Only two years later the voters had had enough. Thus a landslide 2010 election brought back the House. What's happened since then? The GOP has tried to be fiscally responsible and has tried to pass a bunch of bills. What happened? Reid blocked all votes in the Senate. It's been about 1100 days since the Senate voted on a budget.

The people want fiscal responsibility and government out of our business and all the President can think of is growing the government and spending.

He's had three-and-a-half years to get us back on track and he hasn't. You can make all of the bogus "it's the House that's blocking him wahhh!", or "it's all Bush's fault", or "it would be worse if I did nothing" claims, but they would be downright weak or even false in some instances.

Grow a pair. It's time for something else.
