Republicans point that out and all they get in return from Democrats are statements like "they just want your grandparents to die!". How do you work with people like that? The people whose very political lives depend on keeping others depended?
There have been lots of ideas on how to deal with pre-existing conditions (high risk pools, etc). All discussed during the healthcare debates that the Dems ignored. [Healthcare law drafted behind closed doors, nobody read, fake healthcare "summit" on TV, had to bribe their own members to get it passed by one vote, taxes gonna go up, Medicare robbed, CBO says much more expensive than previously thought, yeah, that bill]--------------------------------
