The definitions most studies use on world violence are about formal wars, and to me that isn't the definition. They also are based on per capita statistics rather than total numbers killed, wounded, suppressed by violence, etc.
Also, I have no idea when you think capitalism became a driving force in this supposed peace.
As for whether they are the best times, that's partly philosophical as well as economic, and I'm not sure I've even formed an opinion on it yet.
