A baby is not born with a christian worldview. Depending on circumstances, he or she may never be exposed to one, either. Therefore your projections regarding "sinful inclinations" are not necessarily part of their experience.

I believe the original word for sin translated into English more or less as "missing the mark". Do you believe humans are born with a very real and very strong inclination to miss the mark?

Is it not possible that the default human condition is one where the mark itself is not obvious, and discernment as to what is or is not true has to be made in light of what may seem woefully insufficient information?

I suggest that the human heart seldom finds loving amoral. The human mind is all over the map, and tends to play back its programming, wherever said programming may have come.

To suggest that one who loves another of the same gender is making any decisions regarding a supreme being, or is choosing to act amorally for selfish reasons, is to project whole worlds of information onto the situation which may not appear as real to the person involved, without blame attaching to that understanding.

The question asked was, is Love a choice?

I would add, is Love missing the mark?

(quote provided by my stepson)

‎"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love... No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us."
(1 John 4:7-8,12 ESV)
