I.e., there are all kinds of historical information that you assume, and textual interpretation that you also assume, and claim the "we" as far as Christians go. Maybe "we Evangelical Christians who agree with me" is more accurate?

Recall there are other Christians, scholarly and otherwise, who disagree of the centrality of the prohibitions on homosexuality, both historically and within the text. So how can you lay claim to "we Christians"?

And recall some of your glib explanations have been shown to be in internal contradiction already.

So, I think you can honestly say that what you are saying is why YOU believe, but I don't see how anyone else could or should be persuaded by what you are saying.
