fix your finances with austerity - but that kills growth.

Or, figure out how to pinch your financiers to allow growth - but too much of that is what got you in trouble in the first place.

The US has the luxury of continuing stimulus for a number of reasons. And yes, that stimulus is keeping us off the mat.

But at some point, we need growth - and it's hard with Europe sucking wind.
