I'm pretty sick of this blatant falsehood being repeated. I've been following politics with my eyes wide open for many years, and the Democrats just have not been able to compete with the Lee Atwaters and the Karl Roves.

And on Romney, he already has gone negative, and will continue to do so. Obama's gone negative, too - no denying that. And he will do more... but to date it's no contest. Largely because Romney did have a primary, of course.
