Lol, joking! But that's deep in the American psyche.

I biked until I was about 23, then moved too far out of town & got a car. Now I'm far too lazy to be nomadic without one, or even staying put a while.

I admire those who go the extra step to avoid having a car, and have friends who do fairly ridiculous things on their bikes.

Really wish public transit was better. I really enjoy train rides, like I've had in Europe & the NY area. But California? Being shuttled off to the side for the freight to go by is no way to live.
