Climate Change, while a scientific reality,is still a political issue as fossil fuel barons spend $ to LIE to the suckers who watch Fox
Here (Cincinnati) Normally snowplows are out 25-30 days in a winter anf there's several snow emergency days when schools close, events get canceled.
This year? The snowplows were never needed. i never once saw any more than a dusting of snow on a road. Never shoveled the walk. ZERO snowfall in Nov, Dec,March and only one light snow in Feb that melted off in a few hours. March? March had temps hit the 80's. We didn't even close the windows for about 4 days running as night temps were at least mid 60's. That....ain't typical Ohio.
Then there was a 100 mile long flock of tornadoes in the neighborhood. Not only was that unusually destructive, but typically tornadoes don't hit till summer.
Last year, there was a hurricane that did big damages from Georgia to Vermont. The Missouri,Ohio,Mississippi and many small rivers had major floods. Texas and the Southwest had record summer droughts and high temps.
Climate change? Look outside. We've had a LOT of "unusual".
