Pointing out that heat records are being broken 35x faster than cold records is not the same thing

When you see a couple of million to one events in a row, that is noteworthy. A cold, but otherwise unremarkable winter really doesn't mean much. It means something, it just doesn't really counter the models in a persuasive way.

And again, I'm not saying that any of this PROVES anything. In fact, I never posted that it did. I just gave a weather update, with you knowing what I was thinking, and ben got on his high horse. A century of rapid warming is possible without anthropogenic climate change, so even looking at decades like he says is okay doesn't prove anything. I'm just saying this shit is noteworthy and worth paying attention to because this is what's coming.

We are living in a warming climate. Even though almost any even we see COULD happen without global warming, all events from here on out are a result of global warming. It's in the mix. It is our climate. This isn't really even an argument. It's just true.
