It would be silly of ME to make the comparison, but I can see how the Cubans might.
Also, this is more complicated that the Miami Cuban community sees it. Note that the regime that Castro replaced was itself corrupt and repressive - and that old regime benefited many who were persecuted and driven out by Castro. Many in the Miami Cuban community (but not all) are descendants for wealthy or formerly wealthy who were part of or supporters of the old, corrupt, repressive regime.
