For all the non-stop bitching Republicans do, they brought absolutely zero to the table in this cycle. Their candidates and platform are so epically vapid that it really just made for good theatre.

Let's take a trip back through memory lane...

Romney's non-stop unmittigated douchebaggery being so offensive to even themselves that they tried to prop up every possible nitwit as an alternative to the inevitable beating he will get in November.

Michele Bachmann's gay husband and her psycho stare that made you question exactly how many family members molested her as a child. Herman Cain and his jackass 9-9-9 plan, or vehement opposition to our efforts in Libya, which he couldn't even articulate.

Donald Trump jumping in and right back out. Palin and her will she or won't she fucktardedness.

A field so horrible that they even dug up Newt Gingrich's dead body and defended his utter hypocritical lack of family values morality like they were being paid to. Ron Paul actually being taken seriously for a minute.

The establishment begging awful candidates like Chris Christie to jump in and make it all seem somehow less horrible.

The hype surrounding Rick Perry dissolving into utter and immediate shame, as he flamed out like no other candidate in history in a fireball of drunken incoherence. 3 departments I would eliminate... err... ahhh... umm...

*looks down at notes*

CAMP NIGGERHEAD.

Jon Hunstman and Tim Pawlenty getting fragged at the jump for not being sociopathic enough.

Santorum his google results, and his thinly-veiled self-hating homosexuality. Finishing second is just proof of how bad this field is and how little the GOP has to offer right now.

So seriously... for all their utter rage, constant blame-placing and righteous indignation, this is the best they could do?

6 months of preposterous self-ownage, and they aren't even running against an opponent yet?

From the rest of us to you... thanks, Republicans. Your hilarious implosion was fun for the rest of us.
