I think if we ever found them, we would definitely be curious enough to try and make contact. So I only assume the same about them. I just worry that they have the same mind set as us. If we ever expanded our search that far to find another civilization, I think it would be because Earth is running out of natural resources, and we would be seeking a different planet to pillage of what they have. Hopefully they don't have the same problems.
