I don't know that any sane person thinks politicians really "feel their pain." I know plenty of average people who may have their criticisms of Obama, but still feel he registers on the decency meter, and are sickened by the tactics of those who have (often speciously) opposed every move he's made since the day after the election, and often succeeded in moving the national dialogue away from real issues and onto peripheral non-issues. Is it fair to be disappointed? I suppose that depends on your expectations in the first place.
