Why not just pipe it as far as N Dakota or Montana,build a refinery there? WHY NOT? Ask the Koch brothers who are global speculators,own the refinery this feeds in Texas...from where the oil/gas can be EXPORTED,and run pipelines. They ain't spending $60 MILLION or more for giggles on this election.

Were is about gas for you and me...the oil need not be pumped to Texas across a dozen rivers and thousands of miles of prime farm lands. The whole POINT is to be able to load it on a tanker and send it to China or wherever the money is.

As conservative as Nebraska is...they are anti pipeline,as it stands. They rely on a vast underground aquifer,and a big spill would be devastating. Eventually...WITH the due safeguards,oversight,it will likely happen.
