They're already developing the shit out of the Bakken oil field with new fracking technology (btw, causing horrible smog problems in North Dakota).

OCS areas? There may be some oil that's economically feasible in the Chukchi Sea, but it's decades away from having any effect on the market, and in any case, it's not enough to drop gas prices appreciably.

Shale? They're already drilling and producing from shale. The issue is economics, not Obama.
