How much fact-checking goes on any more with these people? I recall when newspapers would regularly print corrections (usually, as I recall, on the second page). I rarely see them any more. I'm not sure if that's because of staffing cutbacks, or because the papers don't want to admit they make mistakes. At any rate, I kind of miss it. It showed two things - a sense of humility, and a dedication to telling the truth.The poster formerly known as Dr. Z.
