Did you know Woodrow Wilson re-segregated the armed forces in the 30s after they had been integrated for decades?

Did you know that the whole black-white thing about race is something arising from growing distaste in Europe over all types of slavery while Europeans in America continued slavery of Africans but discontinued slavery of Europeans. There is a strain of thought that disdain for the blacks arose from the observation that african slaves were immensely profitable and not going away, but that slavery in general was being done away with because it is in humane. Therefore Africans must not be 100% human. That process survived in the US long after it was done in Europe.

In America race went BACKWARDS several times in our history. Indeed compare the rights of blacks immediately following the Civil War to any period of time thereafter up to the passage of the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Blacks had LESS rights in the 50s.

We have been part of the problem. Period. This is a chip out of the rough, not proof of our superiority.
