It's not exactly in the Ten Commandments. You can find the thing about stoning some sexual offenses or marrying your brother's widow right there in black and white. You have to search a little more for it in the Bible.

Hint: Just because the Churches are against something, does NOT mean it's actually in the Bible.

Bigamy for example. Apparently it was permitted into the Middle Ages. The problem was, it led to community strife because it was unpopular among the ordinary people. So it was outlawed. What that has to do with the Church I have no idea.
