"The word credit comes from the Latin root credere, which means to trust, and this credit crisis has taught us is how fragile that trust actually is”

Does anybody think this "crisis" could lead to a wholesale paradigm shift in terms of our fundamental economic belief system and philosophy?

Is the entire concept of capitalism, as it has assumed to be, potentially on the table at this point?
