He has a 5 point lead in the most recent national polls and a decent electoral college lead. He has more money than McCain. And his campaign has shown themselves to be pretty fuggin sharp and disciplined.
I don't think Palin changes the math that much. She will drive some republican base turnout and she will freak out some independents. Doubt she changes the Hillary Democrat math much.
I would feel pretty confident.
