Geez, I wish I remembered this better, but during Watergate, Nixon was trying to order the atty general to press a charge that was not right and 2 or 3 good Republicans QUIT instead of doing so, and Bork was the guy who eventually carried out Nixon's wishes? That's gotta taint a guy. And THIS is the nominee you lead with?
