But that is actually Clinton's progressiveness more than Bush's.

Janet Reno? Madeline Albright?

Powell and Mineta served under both, mind you.

Clinton had a few others like Zoe Baird not able to be confirmed. He really had to FIGHT to get his diverse cabinet, knocking down doors that Bush was able to walk through easily later.

Both should be applauded in that regard. Calling Clinton's cabinet "good old boys" is waaaaaaaaayyyy off-base.

Record numbers of women, minorities and peoples with disabilities served under or were appointed to key positions by Clinton.
