Hippie liberals = war is always bad, sex is always good, idealism is always better than realism.

Christian fundamentalists = everything wrong about society is at the hands of the liberals, even if we had a part in contributing to the problems.

But you don't see hippie liberals going around bombing abortion clinics, or claiming that wiping Afghanistan off the face of the earth will solve anything. That's why, as annoying as the hippies are, I'll still take them anyday over Christian fundamentalists who think that everything under the sun is their "God given right", while completely ignoring the rights of others.
