I like it; I'm not in love with it. I actually prefer the tone of the Fender with pedals for the distortion tones, but even mic'd, it doesn't have the juice to sound good in a decent size club. I brought it to this guy who used to help me with my sound and he said that I would be improved if I put some new speakers in there but I haven't done it.

I do prefer the sound of the amps with one or two speakers though. They sound better clean. The big cabinets are just too much for me. I'm not looking for the wall of sound effect.

With my old band, we actually invested in a power amp, mixer, and speakers together. It was really nice because we could play shows in backyards and stuff and just bring our own equipment. Of course, the sound never approached the systems they had in places like Sweetwater in Marin (so sad that place closed) and the Boom Boom Room in SF. It was better than turning our amps up way too loud though.

I was so gay and mean,
And I drank and chased the girls

Saint Augustine,
He got to be a saint.
So, if I get to be one, also,
Please. Mama, don't you faint."
