I manage to keep all of the crucial stuff together - filing deadlines, gig and rehearsal dates, my wife's birthday, vet appointments, animal feeding times, taxes (usually). But there's so much extraneous detail in life that I'm absent-minded about. It's not an age thing, and thankfully I have learned to just roll with it because otherwise I'd be totally frustrated.
