They have a great vintage sound but better.

I have a Carr Rambler, a 28 watt job that has the best clean tone I've ever heard. I get a lot of comments on my tone (not my playing, just my tone lol) and it's largely due to the amp.

The problem is I have found myself in situations lately where the Rambler was too small and there wasn't any mic'ing of amps. This one is 40 watts and has a drive channel too. 2x12 combo, though you can get it in varying forms. I figure I'll spend all weekend just dialing it in.

They are expensive, but they are built so well and sound so good I couldn't resist. Now I have to sell something.

Which Boogie do you have. I had a Mark IV and it could sound great or totally like ass, depending on how much time I had to adjust it to the room.
