My landlady (lives below me) being lame since she got a new boyfriend who comes over and downloads all the fucking time on our network, cause he's hella cheap and doesn't want to pay for internet at his house. Fuckin lame ass dude uses bit torrent and sucks up all the bandwidth so I get screwed. (I pay for half the connection) I wanted to watch the Cal game last weekend and he was downloading at fuckin 9am. Called them up and was all wtf? I was grumpy, but now she wants me to get my own in retaliation. (pretty lame she would put this loser that she is with for 2 months, over our friendship of 4 years) All the dude has to do is not suck up all our fucking bandwidth by limiting his torrent download speed.

Anyways... I'm at ATT's website I don't want to spend too much on internet, and have this bullshit cost me an extra $300 - $400 a year (I was also planning on getting rid of my land line and only having a cell phone, but now I'll have to have one) I'm still talking to her though, talking some fucking sense into her.

So... blah blah blah, there's the rant.

Anyone got ATT DSL? Is the $10 a month ATT basic (756kbps) fast enough to watch streaming video? Or should I go up to the 1.5mps connection at $25 a month?
