Communication, socializing, relationships, etc were becoming too effortless and taken for granted, so I quit. Afterwards, it was interesting to see how many and which people made efforts to maintain contact with me in other ways. It was a bit sad that, with a few people (whose friendships had great potential), when we did meet up or call, "Why aren't you on Facebook anymore?" gets asked instead of "How are you/What have you been up to?"

I miss the convenience and the endless networking, but the friendships I have now are much more fulfilling than the 150+ friends on Facebook.
