and I'm not trying to dismiss the issue, but I hate to see two advocates for jazz possibly involved in a tiff. Hopefully it's more of a perceived tiff though it sounds like people have been vocal about it. On the one hand, there really isn't anything like the Jazz School in the area and it has attracted some great artists and has influenced many others. On the other hand Anna is super nice and of course a jazz advocate, and supporter. I played a gig at Anna's a couple of year's back and she was cool. Again, I hope positives come out of this.

BTW- good article Leo-brings back memories with a picture of my former teacher Scott Morris (RIP) who played with Muscarella. He could swing his arse off! He used to play with Richie Cole and others.
