you could say he's full of it after something like that, but i'm sure we all say one thing and act another sometimes. doesn't mean you're necessarily full of it though.

the kid is young, just hit super stardom and just recently hit the legal drinking age. sounds to me like he just lost his way temporarily but has a good head on his shoulders.

if he keeps on screwing up like this, then i would say he's full of it
