who's a combo guard who can effectively play PG. If you gave teams the choice of starting BJ or Earl Watson, I think the majority would take BJax. I think most teams would rather have Bobby off the bench, as well.

Jason Terry is a pretty good back-up. Doesn't play defense as well as Watson, but he's a better scorer, and a better shooter.

I'd say Watson is on the same level guys like Antonio Daniels and Troy Hudson. Good back-ups who could start for a handful of teams. Add Van Exel to the list as well, but he's oft-injured and slower these days. Still one of the more dangerous players coming off the bench in the NBA.

kind of a cheap answer, but the most talented back-up PG in the league is probably Shaun Livingston... he'll take a while to develop, but he's going to be an excellent NBA PG in a year or two.
