Sometimes, taking the high road is counterproductive.

Because that heckler wouldn't think, "Gee, he's a bigger man than me. I should learn from that."

He's probably thinking either, "My behavior is completely acceptable" or "What a sally".

Getting his ass kicked is a pretty good way to learn where the acceptable limits are.
