(d) If true, IF, it is horrible things to say. However I was always taught "sticks and stones..." The appropriate, mature reaction is to say "F you" and then ignore the person. I believe that to be true in any circustance, but if you are an athlete you are a paid entertainer and you are paid to IGNORE stuff like this it is even more true.
