... even worse coaching/management. gsw_hoops will always come up with some way to shift the blame away from the people who are failing, and it's always "whining" when the rest of us bring it up.

Well, face it - this team is still average at best, and while wins over teams like the Timberwolves, the Lakers, and the Kings feel good, losses like last night's erase anything they could've taken from those wins. This team has the talent to make a playoff run, but they don't have the coaching and consistency to pull it off.

Good teams win the games they're supposed to win. This team finds a way to lose them. Hence, they're not a good team.

I'm still going to be optimistic that we'll see the Warriors with an above-.500 record sometime soon, maybe even a return to the playoffs, but not now. Not yet. They don't have what it takes, no matter how much gsw_hoops wants to deny it.

That a guy with as bad a track record as St. Jean's had can still be a GM in this league is all you need to know. It starts there and spreads down over this team like a plague. He sucked in Sacramento, and look what they've done since they got rid of him. Now he sucks here, no matter what excuse anyone wants to make, and this team isn't going anywhere as long as he's GM. Period.
