I've been predicting this for months. He's worth more than the W's can pay. Money is important. He's gone. How anybody thought otherwise beats me.

As far as Saint goes, his job is to get talent and keep it.

He could easily have offered Gilbert 3 years and retained Bird rights, but nooooooo. Saint's clueless, cheap or both.

I don't think Saint knew what he had. And because of that, he doesn't have him any more.
