"I went from being a 30-point-a-game scorer in high school to (the Bulldogs') all-time leader in assists," said Zimmerman, the draft's 40th selection overall. "I had to make an adjustment for the team to win and in order for me to be successful at the college level."
The big knock on Zimmerman was his lack of offensive production. His POV is apparently that his team didn't need him to score in large numbers...they needed ballhandling and defense. If Zimmerman can score, he may have been one of the steals of the draft. Very interesting.
