This is a big one:

W/out Bogut, #GSW were able to keep Lee's D assignments close to paint, maximizing his greatest strength at that end (rebounding).

Bogut has to guard the Post C. He makes it impossible to hide Lee on him anymore. That may be the biggest difference between him and Ezeli. Perimeter guys have to collapse and help Lee out on a constant basis
