Every generation improves physically ...

through genetic lottery, improvements in training methods, and even younger starts/dedication to the sport. This seems to lead to modern era stars logging way better stats than "classic" era stars. I think only 3 "classic" stars are in the top 20 per of all time?

e.g. elgin baylor/oscar robertson -> magic/jordan -> lebron/durant

... but everyone still has to fill out their resumes against their generation's competition to get into that hallowed ground that Bill Russell and MJ seem to reside in. Until LBJ starts clocking multiple championships, I can't yet put him in there.
