Feels like this is a bit of a replay from earlier in the season

I'm not sure if it's just that he's streaky, or that he gets decidedly worse when he tries to do too much. I lean toward the latter even though I think the former is also somewhat true.

In general, Klay has looked his best when he takes in rhythm jumpers with his feet set. When he drifts or moves on his shot, it is dramatically worse. Unfortunately, that includes his layups if they are at all contested.

It is time for Jackson to shorten the leash. Klay needs to try to vary his game to reach his potential, but I think he should be limited to spot up shots and anything where he can get all the way to the rim (and the effort there should be to get fouled as much as it is to make the shot). Outside of that, anything he puts up should be considered a bad shot at this point. And Jackson should treat it, and Klay's minutes, as such.

If he can get those two components down consistently, he can worry about the midrange next year.
