But I agree, if we're in this situation in February, then its time to panic. Still 3 months in the recovery window, and not a single one of us has any idea where the hole was drilled and how big.

The plus side? Ferkel cleared him after 6 months, which is the very, very low end. So he considers the surgery a minor one (re: microfracture).
