To me, Dalton's skill set is similar to Smith's: Good arm but not great, smart player, isn't as mobile as Smith, etc.
Kap, at least at this point, is more of a risk, but is a better athlete and has a much stronger arm. I'd much rather roll the dice with a player like Kap than play it safe with a player like Smith or Dalton. I'd rather have a guy that throws 33 TDs and has 10 interceptions than a guy who throws 17 and five.
