"Pushing away teammates. hmmm
You do remember how he witnessed most of his teammates from the "We Believe" run get pushed out early in his career? Of all the players they kept...Biedrins? WTF"
-- So because the team's roster changed over a five year span, Monta has the right to throw hissy fits about his new teammates and to completely ignore other teammates?
That's a freaking ridiculous line of reasoning. There is no excuse for him acting like a child with emotional problems. I don't care if his buddies got traded or left for other teams in free agency. He's got a $55,000,000 contract. He could at least act like an adult, let alone a professional.
Making excuses for his poor behavior over a several year span is montarded. That wouldn't cut it in any workplace.

"So what if he laughed at his former boss. His former boss just traded him away from his home for 7 years. How is that different from anyone being fired or let go from any other job. It's an honest/natural reaction to being let go after years of loyalty."
--
He's a professional basketball player. Trades happen. Or did Monta not know this?
He was let go because he wasn't seen as essential to the team's success. And you know why he was seen this way? Because he didn't bring ANY success here. Not that he was expected to carry the team on his shoulders alone, but he acted like a crybaby a-hole prima donna that "got away with murder" and "just wouldn't do it." LOL@ claiming that he deserved to not be traded for his "loyalty" or any other reason.
===
Would I still want him in the team if his behavior was bad? That's a ridiculous question. "Of course I wouldn't. Let me ask you this...
Would you love Bogut or Curry if they played like Beans and DWright this year? Exactly
Don't try to act intelligent with a ridiculous hypothetical question."
----
Uhh...his behavior was bad. You already admitted that with the scooter incident. You know about the dick pics, right? You know about how he treated Curry and Lee, right? You know that he was said to "get away with murder."
So what are you talking about?
And btw, my question was: if Monta wasn't as talented as he was, would you have wanted him on the team with him having such bad behavior? Answer that one.
=====
"Was he a dick to his fans? He was actually very humble and appreciative of his fans. I appreciate what he's done for this organization. Unlike you...I won't turn a blind eye on a player that has played with passion throughout the years just because of a few missteps. That says a lot about you if you are so quick to turn on and no longer support a player that did so much for the team and the fan base."
-----
When did I say he was a dick to fans? He was good to his fans, at least the ones that enjoyed watching him score lots of points and making acrobatic shots.
But you are turning a blind eye to his horrible presence on the team with his attitude and refusal to improve his game. He had Iverson-complex where he thought he was good enough and didn't need to go the extra mile to be a leader or to make his teammates better. Their careers will have similar arcs. You'll see.

"Has Kobe won a championship by himself? Nope
He's great, but all great players need great teammates like a Shaq or Pau.
Boom!"
----
Boom? lmao...was this the exclamation point to what you viewed as a great piece of writing? Its so full of illogical Monta apologies that it hurts my brain.
As far as Kobe goes, he's a complete prick and I hate him. But he's 10x the player Monta Ellis is, whether Pau Gasol or Shaq are around or not.
Of course Monta doesn't know that, so why should his fans know that either? They are all riding the short bus to Milwaukee now.
