beans is a better rebounder, but it's painful to see him "operate" in the paint. yeah he has that new up and under move and that's it lol. lopez is a legit 7-footer that can hold his own in the post, both sides of the ball. with no legit offensive big man, we become very very predictable in that we rely on our guards to score in the paint or chuck up shots. small guards at that. i want a big man that will demand the ball, post up effectively and hit the 17-footer. neither fits biedrins' bill.
but i agree with you. he isn't a great rebounder. at only 21, he can work on that in the many off-seasons he has in the future. i just cannot see biedrins developing even the slightest effective move in the paint. never been a fan of his at all. even in the playoffs.
