The Ws would have sussed it out the way MTII and Stein said they did - by having the trainer check him out and talk to his Drs. This is what every team would do. Mullin said the Ws set up the surgery, so they would have their own medical people look at him. They are in a position to know how likely or not it would be for somebody to get that kind of injury playing basketball.
