Latvians have played in Russia from the very beginning and it is considered a very good place to play in. Especially for basketball, as Russian league the 2nd strongest national league in the world next to NBA.
Everybody would consider it a step back for such a dominating talent like Biedrins but it is possible. Like protest move os something.
