I absolutely agree that we haven't gotten a 1st tier free-agent this summer...and losing Baron was a serious blow. BUT...

We have addressed our most pressing needs and have set ourselves up to do even more:

- Magette is a strong wing player who gets to the line and makes his free throws which has been a serious weakness of this team for years.

- Turiaf is an energy big who goes after rebounds.

- Marcus Williams is exactly what we need in the PG position. Not developed enough to demand to be the starter (like Hinrich or Billups) thus letting us try the Ellis at the 1 experiment, but big enough to play with Ellis when the need arises (and it will).

- Our draft was AWESOME! Randolph is a dynamic young player who needs to add weight and experience but he absolutely makes Wright expendable. Hendrix is a true banger who will make the team and become a fixture in the rotation by next season.

- Thus, we now have Harrington, Wright and Belinelli to use in a trade for one of the top-tier FA (Smith or Okafor) in a sign and trade. If we are able to get this last piece done we will be in the best shape we've been in YEARS.
